Glitz, Glamour and more, at the Xperia Fashion Week
Season 3 of Xperia Fashion Week saw a splendid display of glitter, glamour and style. With over 2,500 registrations, the judges had a tough time choosing 6 finalists from each of the 3 categories – Kids, Women and Men. The finale was a grand event, with the finalists showcasing collections of over 30 fashion brands available at the Xperia Mall. All in all, the crowd was truly mesmerised by the impressive outfits presented on stage.
A Children’s Day Special at the Xperia Kids Fiesta
On a breezy Thursday morning in November, when the entire city of Mumbai was struggling to get going, the kids were bustling with energy and waiting for the clock to strike 4. The reason – it was 14th November a.k.a Children’s Day, and their favourite mall – Xperia, had something amazing planned for them. Nickelodeon’s Motu Patlu were on their way to enchant the kids with their antics at the ‘Xperia Kids Fiesta’.
The week-long celebration also had Nickelodeon’s Shiva, Rudra, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Gattu Battu and Power Rangers visit and offer the kids fun-filled moments to remember. The parents weren’t left behind either, as they got to win international holidays for themselves through a lucky draw.
It’s an Xperia Xmas!
Walking through the glass doors of Xperia Mall, one couldn’t miss the 20 ft. towering Christmas Tree in the main atrium. Santa’s Hut had a long queue of visitors waiting their turn to meet the Father of Christmas, who greeted everyone with a smile and loads of presents.
Children surrounded the stage, gazing in amazement, as they learned how to make a snowman in one of the many workshops planned for them. A few others were keen to grab an opportunity to click a picture at the exclusively created Christmas selfie zone and Boomerang Hut. Overall, it was a spectacle to witness and will be cherished forever.
